The Buffalo Trace Churchill Cigar is available in three vitolas, each embodying a medium-bodied profile that harmonizes exquisitely with fine bourbon. Each cigar is draped in a hearty Sumatra wrapper, cultivated in the fertile soil of Ecuador’s Los RÃos region. This region, enriched by its history of cocoa and coffee cultivation, began growing tobacco in the 1960s, brought by Cuban exiles. This historical influence adds a unique complexity to the tobacco.
The cigar’s construction features a Brazilian Arapiraca binder that encloses a blend of barrel-aged Piloto Cubano from the Dominican Republic and Estelà Ligero from Nicaragua. This combination creates a nuanced smoking experience, where flavors of cedar, pepper, and earth mingle seamlessly with espresso notes. These flavors complement the rich, dark fruit, brown sugar, spice, oak, and toffee tones found in each bottle of Buffalo Trace bourbon, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the cigar.
